Crankshaft connecting rod 90mm Stage6 R/T for Malossi MHR C-One case
Description
Stage6 R/T high-end crankshaft 70cc for C-One housing
Stage6 R/T crankshaft with 90mm connecting rod. The Stage6 R/T crankshaft has been specially developed for use with 70cc flange mount cylinders with Malossi MHR C-One racing cases (Piaggio & Minarelli).
Strengths of the Stage6 R/T racing crankshaft
The tuning crankshaft is characterized by precise manufacturing and tight tolerances. The CNC-milled connecting rod is extremely resistant and offers maximum strength for use in racing engines, while at the same time optimizing the flow characteristics.
The very precise balancing prevents strong vibrations and ensures smooth operation. The crankpin measures 18mm instead of 16mm to increase durability. It goes without saying that the small end bearing is also very high quality.
Stage6 R/T Racing crankshaft for Malossi C-One
The high-end racing crankshaft was clearly designed for racing use and was specially designed for use with the Malossi C-One racing crankcases. The crankshaft can also be used in Piaggio OEM models with appropriate machining of the case.
The Stage6 R/T crankshaft with 90m connecting rod can only be used with cylinders that are designed for the use of a 90mm connecting rod or combined with a corresponding spacer.
Preparation for installation of S6 R/T crankshaft
The Stage6 R/T crankshaft has larger crank webs than the original model. It is therefore necessary to machine the crankcase. The final dimensions of the crankcase after machining should be at least 75.5 mm.
Technical specifications Stage6 R/T crankshaft C-One:
Tuning level: High End
Connecting rod length: 90 mm (10 mm longer than original)
Stroke: 39.3 mm (original)
Web diameter: 74mm
Crank pin: 18 mm
Incl. small end bearings for 12mm and 13mm piston pins
How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.
For a correct installation of the crankshaft, we recommend our tutorial: Crankshaft disassembly and assembly.
How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.

Tuning Level: High End racing
We categorize our products into different performance levels Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
High End Racing products are exclusively designed for racing and should only be handled by tuning pros with the appropriate technical know-how. High-end racing parts often require modifications or machining of certain elements to accommodate the often larger components (larger crank webs, larger intake, etc.). Whether you stick with 50cc or increase the displacement, high-end racing parts offer much higher performance than the original parts and are the most powerful tuning parts.
Note: To ensure the reliability of the engine, it is important that the parts are compatible and that you do regular maintenance on your two-wheeler.
