Aprilia Area 51 LC - General information
The Aprilia Area 51 first rolled off the production line in 1998 and was produced until 2003. It sports an eye-catching design with sporty fairing and twin headlights. With a tank capacity of 11.5 liters, it is also suitable for longer trips.

The scooter is equipped with a liquid-cooled 50 cc 2-stroke single-cylinder Minarelli engine, with great acceleration and high top speeds. The engine ia also a great basis for Aprilia Area 51 tuning. It can be started electrically or by kickstarter. The mixture is prepared via a carburetor.
Aprilia Area51 - Chassis
The Aprilia Area51 is equipped with hydraulic monoshock absorbers at the front and rear, which effectively compensate for unevenness even at high speeds. The front and rear wheels are each equipped with a 2-piston caliper and a 190mm disc brake. The tire size is 130/60 x 13" at the front and rear.
