Yamaha Neo's 1997-2007
The Yamaha Neo's (or Neos) is the ideal scooter for the city: it is practical, comfortable and economical, making it a good choice for riders on a budget. Unlike many other scooters and mopeds, the Yamaha Neo's is not necessarily intended for young riders. Its classic look with a stepped seat and low headlights appeals more to adult riders.
In addition to the popular 50 cc version with just under 3 hp, Yamaha also produced a more powerful model with a displacement of 100 cc and just under 7 hp.
In 2008, the scooter was revised, and later a 50cc 4-stroke version was also available. Today, the Neo's is only offered with an electric motor.
This scooter was sold by MBK under the name MBK Ovetto.
