Gilera DNA 50cc LC - General information

The Gilera DNA 50cc LC is a scooter that is mostly known for its unconventional and sporty design. The DNA has a 50cc engine and was designed for young riders who valued agility and style. A standout feature of the DNA is its distinctive design - it looks like a motorcycle but offers the ease of use and riding stability of a scooter. Unfortunately, production of the Gilera DNA was discontinued, but its unusual construction and unique design made a lasting impression on the scooter world.

Gilera 50cc - Engine

The engine consists of a long, single-cylinder 2-stroke liquid-cooled Piaggio engine. The liquid cooled engine keeps the optimum temperature to allow for full power at all times. The mixture is prepared intake via a carburetor. It can be started both electrically and by kickstarter.

DNA Gilera 50cc - Chassis

The front suspension consists of a hydraulic telescopic fork and the rear suspension consists of a mono swing arm with a hydraulic shock absorber. The brake system consists of a front disc brake with double-piston caliper (Ø 240 mm) and a rear disc brake with single-piston caliper (Ø 200 mm). The tire size is 120/70-15 at the front and 140/70-14 at the rear.
