Description
Exhaust Yasuni R3 AM6 + Derbi
The Yasuni R3 is a low-mount racing exhaust for 50cc motorcycles with Derbi or Minarelli AM6 engine. Great look, awesome sound and maximum performance - high-end at its best!
The exhaust stands out due to its excellent workmanship and features high-quality details such as reinforced brackets for body and muffler. Clean welds and the high quality Max Pro silencer made of CNC aluminium guarantee a stunning race look.
The R3 is a purebred racing exhaust and consequently not road-legal. It is suitable for 70 ccm Racing - 88 ccm Racing / Big Bore cylinders and unleashes the maximum potential of your engine with fantastic acceleration and increased top speed.
To get the most out of the Yasuni R3 we recommend using a larger carburetor such as the PWK 28, a larger reed valve and a reinforced clutch to avoid clutch slippage.
The Yasuni R3 comes with all the hardware needed to mount it on 50cc bikes with AM6 or Derbi engines.
- Low mount exhaust
- For Derbi Senda X-Treme, Rieju MRT, Beta RR, Sherco SM 50 ...etc.
- Silencer: Carbon Kevlar®
- High-end Racing
- NOT road-legal
YASUNI R3
The Spanish brand was originally known in MotoGP, when two-strokes dominated the discipline, but has also built up an excellent reputation with high-quality exhausts for 50cc motorcycles, including the Yasuni R3.
PERFORMANCE YASUNI R3
The Yasuni R3 was developed for racing, so it is not approved for road use and is a genuine high-end exhaust. With its very wide powerband and volume designed for 70cc to 88cc cylinders, the exhaust offers strong acceleration and increased top speed.
To fully utilize the performance of the Yasuni R3, we recommend a carburetor with a large diameter, e.g. a PWK 28, a tuning reed valve and a reinforced clutch to prevent the clutch from slipping.
Not compatible with original / OEM quality cylinders!
The more power and displacement, the higher the number of the Yasuni R exhaust should be selected: Yasuni R1, R2, R3, R4...
Exhaust scooter, moped, motorcycle
The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.
exhaust parts
- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
For 2-stroke engines, various settings and components usually need to be adjusted when the original exhaust is replaced with a tuning version. These changes include:
- Adjusting the carburetor by replacing the main jet.
- Upgrading the clutch or replacing the clutch springs.
- For scooters, it may be necessary to reduce the weight of the variator weights.
Tuning Level: High End racing
We categorize our products into different performance levels Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
High End Racing products are exclusively designed for racing and should only be handled by tuning pros with the appropriate technical know-how. High-end racing parts often require modifications or machining of certain elements to accommodate the often larger components (larger crank webs, larger intake, etc.). Whether you stick with 50cc or increase the displacement, high-end racing parts offer much higher performance than the original parts and are the most powerful tuning parts.
Note: To ensure the reliability of the engine, it is important that the parts are compatible and that you do regular maintenance on your two-wheeler.
