Yamaha DT50 - Engine
The Yamaha DT50 is equipped with a vertical two-stroke single-cylinder Minarelli 3MN engine. The engine block is cooled by liquid cooling, which leads to better heat dissipation. The DT50 uses a carburetor to regulate the fuel-air mixture. The displacement is 50cc. The DT50 is equipped with a multi-disc clutch and a manual 6-speed gearbox. The engine can be started using a kick starter or an electric starter.
DT50 - Chassis
The Yamaha DT50cc R is equipped with a telescopic front fork with relatively long suspension travel, which ensures excellent shock absorption. The rear suspension consists of a hydraulic shock absorber that effectively compensates for bumps in the road. The hydraulic front disc brake has a disc diameter of 240 mm, while the rear brake has a disc diameter of 218 mm. The front tire is 70/90 x 21" and the rear tire is 90/90 x 18", which results in more safety and a better off-road riding experience.
The Yamaha DT50 R shines with a number of useful features such as the striking enduro design, which is characterized by a robust look and off-road capability. The increased ground clearance, coarse-tread tires and robust chassis make it well suited for off-road use.
