Description
Stage6 R/T 95cc cylinder for AM6
More displacement means more power: Stage6 R/T cylinder 95cc Big Bore Minarelli AM6, top-of-the-line high-end cylinder for maximum power.
Stage6 R/T cylinder - innovation and maximum performance
Based on the well-known, record-breaking 70cc cylinder, the 95cc version will get you even more power and offers plenty of potential for new record performances.
External stud bolts: As with the 70cc cylinder, the 95cc cylinder is also mounted with four external stud bolts. There are no bulges for the stud bolts, which otherwise run through the cylinder and affect the cross-section, so that the even larger ports can be done without any restriction.
Improved thermal properties: The thermals are excellent - the combustion chamber insert is bolted in five places, each bolted joint is cooled by its own cooling pocket. This way the critical points on the stud bolts, which often lead to piston jamming, are eliminated.
The cylinder is also less susceptible to defects due to thermal overloads, as the bore can expand evenly. This is extremely important, especially in tough racing conditions.
Big bore cylinder: In contrast to many other cylinders, Stage6 developed completely redesigned exhaust and transfer ports and thus offers a thoroughbred high-end big bore cylinder, not one that has not simply been bored out! In figures: 30 hp and more are quite feasible here, of course only in combination with the right setup.
Setup and installation Stage6 R/T cylinder
The 95 R/T kit is supplied with an exhaust flange and a reducer that can be used to install all Minarelli AM6 exhaust systems with a flange diameter of 35 and 38 mm. The flange is fitted with two O-rings to ensure a perfect seal, with one O-ring on the side of the cylinder and one O-ring on the inside facing the exhaust.
We currently recommend the following Stage6 exhausts for maximum performance:
Both exhausts work well with the 95cc cylinder. So if you already have the 80-90 exhaust, there is no need to change to the 90-100 exhaust.
We recommend the following parts for the remaining configuration:
- Crankshaft AM6 Stage6 R/T stroke 44 and 90mm connecting rod
- Crankkshaft bearings Stage6 R/T AM6 for 20mm journals
- Stage6 R/T carburetor 34mm
- Internal rotor ignition Stage6 R/T by PVL Minarelli AM6
- 5-disc clutch Stage6 R/T Minarelli AM6

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped
The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.
The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Tuning Level: High End racing
We categorize our products into different performance levels Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
High End Racing products are exclusively designed for racing and should only be handled by tuning pros with the appropriate technical know-how. High-end racing parts often require modifications or machining of certain elements to accommodate the often larger components (larger crank webs, larger intake, etc.). Whether you stick with 50cc or increase the displacement, high-end racing parts offer much higher performance than the original parts and are the most powerful tuning parts.
Note: To ensure the reliability of the engine, it is important that the parts are compatible and that you do regular maintenance on your two-wheeler.
Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.
