MVT SC Racing crankshaft MINARELLI AM6
The MVT SC racing crankshaft is a high-performance component for motorcycles with Minarelli AM6 engines (Aprilia, Beta, Fantic, HM, Husqvarna, Malaguti, MBK, Peugeot, Rieju, Sherco and Yamaha). The MVT SC crankshaft is reinforced and is perfect for racing and high-end racing configurations.
Construction of the MVT SC crankshaft
This is a forged steel racing crankshaft with an extended 44.8mm stroke, with a high-strength polished 90mm connecting rod for 13mm piston pins, 20mm journals and 18mm crank pin. The silver-plated small end bearing improves the reliability of the crankshaft.
The crankshaft is designed for speeds of up to 16,000 rpm, making it ideal for tuned engines.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
