MVT S-RACE racing crankshaft AM6
The MVT S-RACE crankshaft is a high-performance component for mopeds with Minarelli AM6 engines, e.g. from Aprilia, Beta, Fantic, HM, Husqvarna, Malaguti, MBK, Peugeot, Rieju, Sherco and Yamaha. This MVT S-RACE crankshaft is perfect for racing setups thanks to its advanced features.
Construction MVT S-Race crankshaft
This is a reinforced racing crankshaft with 43 mm stroke, with exceptional durability and performance. It also features 2x 6204 bearings and a heavy-duty forged steel connecting rod that can withstand up to approx. 18,000 rpm. The full circle crankshaft optimizes pre-compression and therefore performance. The crankshaft is perfectly balanced to reduce harmful vibrations in powerful engines.
The small end bearing has an outer diameter of 16 mm, which allows it to absorb shocks better than a cage of the original size of 15 mm. These characteristics make it an ideal crankshaft for racing configurations.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
