These pre-assembled secondary gear kits from Top Performances are a great way to increase your scooter’s top speed. By changing the gear ratio compared to the stock setup, the rear wheel turns faster at the same engine speed, which results in a higher maximum speed.
There are various gear ratios available to to match your specific setup. For example, the 15/41 version provides a 1:2.73 ratio, ideal for fine-tuning performance.

when is it worth changing the gear ratio?
Changing the gear ratio only makes sense if your engine already delivers enough power to handle a longer transmission. A strong setup is essential to fully benefit from extended gearing; on stock engines, performance may even become worse.
