Description
Voltage regulator for scooter and supermotot
It’s the job of the regulator/rectifier to convert the alternating current from the alternator to the 12V direct current needed and to maintain a constant voltage level. This is what charges the battery and ensures that bulbs don’t burn out. Due to the fact that these parts are subject to high temperatures, they are prone to fail. If the regulator is faulty, the battery is always empty and some ignition systems won’t work, bulbs may repeatedly burn out or the light flickers.
