Description
Racing crankshaft Malossi MHR Team for Testa RossA FL100
Very high-quality racing crankshaft from Malossi MHR, specially developed for the high-end 100cc Flanged Mount Testa Rossa cylinder. It can of course also be used with other FL cylinders.
High-quality materials and precision machining
Maximum resilience: The Malossi crankshaft is CNC-milled from forged special steel and then thermochemically treated. This process provides exceptional hardness and strength, which are essential for the high performance of 100cc engines.
High precision: The surfaces are ground using high-precision machines. The reduced surface roughness ensures minimized friction, better performance and increased longevity. The journals in particular have tolerances of only a few thousandths of a millimeter (-0.001 mm).
High-end connecting rod: The connecting rod made of forged 18 NiCrMo5 steel is equipped with special lube holes on the small end and lube slots on the big end to enable better sliding in the most heavily stressed areas.
High-quality small end bearing: The silver-coated steel needle cage offers optimum lubrication and wear protection and ensures optimum performance even with reduced lubrication.
Optimized balancing: The crankshaft is balanced to optimally support the performance of high-performance engines. The dynamic balancing ensures smooth and even operation even at extremely high speeds of up to 16,000 rpm and makes the Malossi crankshaft ideal for use in high-performance sports.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.
For a correct installation of the crankshaft, we recommend our tutorial: Crankshaft disassembly and assembly.
How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
Tuning Level: Racing
We categorize our products into different performance levels Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
Racing products are designed for a more extreme uses and are developed primarily for racing. Whether you stay at 50cc or increase the displacement, the corresponding Racing parts produce much higher performance than the original parts in order to achieve maximum power.
