Scope of delivery Stage6 kit for Peugeot mopeds
The Stage6 kit for Peugeot 103 MVL contains the following components:
- 1x cylinder kit Peugeot 103 Stage6 Racing 70,
- 1x cylinder head d.46mm Peugeot 103 Stage6 Racing 70,
- 1x crankshaft Stage6 Peugeot 103 SP (electronic),
- 1x crankshaft bearing and oil seals Peugeot 103 Stage6 C3 polyamide cage.
This combination of components provides you with an engine of the latest generation for Peugeot 103 SP, which is ideal for relaxed Sunday rides as well as for use in competition.

In conjunction with the Stage6 crankshaft for Peugeot 103 SP and MVL, this cylinder kit guarantees high and stable performance over a wide power range. Thanks to the optimized balancing of the crankshaft, vibrations, which are not only unpleasant but also responsible for performance losses, are significantly reduced. Finally a 103 that gets up to speed!
To maximize performance, we also recommend the use of a Stage6 PVL ignition, the MotoForce Racing engine case and a carburettor with a diameter of at least 19 mm.
Assembly tips for Stage6 cylinder for Peugeot 103
Before you install the Stage6 cylinder, you should thoroughly clean the engine, check the condition of all parts and use a new spark plug and a new small end bearing. The carburetor settings should be adjusted. The squish clearance should be greater than or equal to 1 mm. You should run in the engine for at least 300 km with a 3% mixture to ensure robustness and durability.

Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
