Modern scooters and maxi scooters are equipped with an automatic transmission, the so-called CVT (for Continuously Variable Transmission), a transmission that is controlled by centrifugal force. The heart of this transmission is the front pulley or variator. It consists of the front pulley tracks for the roller weights, sleeve, ramp plate, sliders and CVT weights.

Our range includes many OEM quality CVTs for scooters with Minarelli, Piaggio, Peugeot, GY6 or China 2-stroke engine.

For tuning projects we recommend a performance-enhancing sport or tuning variator. Some of the main manufacturers are:

If you want to go a little further, you should get an oversize / overrange CVT from Malossi or Stage6.
