The Effect of CVT weights on Power and Torque

The CVT weights that sit inside the CVT front pulley change the gear ratio when moving inwards and outwards in the raceways. When upgrading to a more powerful engine, it is usually recommended to replace the CVT roller weights. The roller weights are available in many sizes for all common CVT models and of course with different weights. This is a list of the original sizes of different scooter models.

In the complex interaction of cylinder, exhaust, carburetor and CVT , choosing the right weights is not always easy, so we also have CVT tuning kits so you can determine the optimum weight for your individual setup.
