MVT - Company history

MVT Allumage stands first and foremost for its founder Alain Godou and his passion for motorcycles and racing. The 2-stroke mastermind first gained prominence in 50cc competitions (Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3) by producing parts for the iconic Peugeot 103 racing mopeds. The origins of the MVT Allumage brand are in France, but the company moved its headquarters to Spain, where it produces a diverse range of high-quality tuning components for motorized two-wheelers. Initially, the company focused on the production and improvement of high-quality replacement and racing ignition systems for scooters, mopeds and 50cc motorbikes. MVT achieved its breakthrough by introducing a high-quality racing ignition, which had an integrated light and charging coil to supply the vehicle with power - the MVT Premium. This meant that the ignitions could also be used off the racetrack.

MVT Allumage Catalog

The innovative and high-quality products in ignition technology are particularly well known. In recent years, the manufacturer has expanded its product range to include a number of other interesting items. In addition to the popular MVT internal rotor ignitions with light, the brand now also offers complete exhausts, cylinders, intake systems and crankshafts specifically for tuning projects.

MVT - Features

What makes the MVT ignition so interesting, apart from the 12V output for light, is that even if you are riding a standard model, you can bypass the engine's built-in rev limiter with the MVT racing ignition. This alone guarantees a noticeable increase in performance.
