Ipone - beginnings and development

In 1985, Christian Roberty founded the company Ipone in the south of France. Ipone sounds Japanese, which is based on the wave of success of Japanese motorcycles at the time, which was one of the building blocks that helped the brand make their breakthrough. Originally Ipone products were very popular in the 50cc 2-stroke scooter and supermoto and off-road scene, since then the product range has expanded to meet the needs of all motorcyclists, 2 and 4-stroke, onroad and offroad. Used by Yamaha as their official oil supplier since 2003 (until the introduction of the Japanese manufacturer's own lubricants some time ago), the French manufacturer has proven its quality and continued to improve its reputation. Today, the French company still produces in France and exports to over 50 countries.

In addition to engine oils like Samurai Racing and Katana, the brand's flagship products, Ipone also offers fork and shock oils, various lubricants, brake and coolant fluids, and a wide range of maintenance and care products.
