Polini For Race crankshaft
Reinforced racing crankshaft from Polini. The reinforced connecting rod makes it particularly suitable for tuned engines. Although we recommend use in the MidRace / Sport area, the crankshaft can also be used for more heavily tuned racing setups. It is suitable for all sports and racing cylinders with an output of up to 14 hp.
With small end bearing for 12mm piston pins.

Polini For Race
The For Race series from Polini includes exhausts as well as crankshafts and clutches for scooters, 50cc supermotos and Vespas. Although the name sounds like ultra-high-quality and high-performance racing parts, this is not quite true.
The exhausts are not road-legal and are theoretically only intended for use on the race track, but due to their performance, which focuses mainly in the lower and medium RPM range, they are more suitable for sports / entry level tuning setups, which are appreciated for their balanced ratio of performance and reliability for everyday use.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
