MVT SC G2B Racing crankshaft Peugeot 103 / MBK mopeds
The MVT SC G2B and G3 c rankshaft is a high-performance component for MBK 51, Peugeot RXC and SPX mopeds with G2B or G3 racing crankcases. The crankshaft is perfectly matched to the MVT SC 50cc cylinder kit G2B and is suitable for setups that require high strength, whether for 50cc or more.
Construction MVT SC moped crankshaft
It is a forged steel racing crankshaft with 39.7mm stroke, a reinforced 85mm connecting rod, a 20mm bearing seat and a silver plated piston pin bearing 12x16x15 for 12mm pin, which is designed for high loads and a long service life. The crankshaft can be used with tuning CVTs, e.g. from Malossi, Doppler, Conti, Bidalot and others. The racing shaft is perfectly balanced, with 73mm crank webs and has the same mounting system as the 80cc MVT SC models and therefore offers greater reliability than the standard model.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
