Crankshaft mbk 51 & 103 RCx/SPX for crankcase mvt sc g4
The MVT SC G4 c rankshaft is a high performance component for the MBK 51 and Peugeot SPX/RCX mopeds with an MVT G4 Racing crankcase and 52x52mm studs. This crankshaft, which is perfectly balanced to the MVT G4 cylinder (under development), is ideal for configurations that require high strength and is suitable for mopeds with 50cc and more.
Construction moped crankshaft G4 MVT SC:
MVT presents a racing crankshaft made of high-strength forged steel with a stroke of 43 mm, a 90mm connecting rod and a reinforced 12x17x15-mm silver needle cage. Perfectly designed for high loads and a longer service life. This crankshaft is designed for 12mm piston pins, optionally the use of a 13x17x15mm small end bearing for 13mm pin is possible (sold separately). The crankshaft also has a 20mm variator stub, which is compatible with tuning variators from well-known brands such as Malossi, Doppler, Conti and Bidalot.
Professional tip: For a longer engine service life, we recommend the 6204 C3 bearing kit with polyamer cage in 20x47x14mm. Available separately in our store.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
