Complete intake kit with carburetor
We assembled this carburetor / intake kit for Minarelli vertical so you can renew and upgrade your intake system without getting a headache when looking for matching components. The tuning parts from Polini and Stage6 fit together perfectly and will bring you maximum performance: Polini CP carburetor, oversize intake kit from Stage6 plus choke and air filter.
The Polini CP carburetor 21mm is innovative state-of-the art carburetor by renowned Italian manufacturer Polini. Polini engineers were trying to find the perfect balance between weight and performance. Lightweight, compact and space-saving with very good performance, high durability, low consumption and foolproof installation + easy to do carb settings - top carburetor from tuning experts Polini.
Matching the Polini carburetor, we added a Polini air filter Air Box to the kit. The open air filter offers excellent filtering performance combined with maximum airflow. A splash cap provides additional protection against rain and dirt.
Stage6 contributes the complete intake system, namely a Stage6 High Performance Big Valve / Oversize Kit for Minarelli vertical engines. The kit includes two intake manifolds and venturi inserts matching the also included reed valve. The aluminium intake manifold is equipped with vacuum and oil port.
Also from Stage6: Stage6 choke lever + choke cable, 50cm long. Robust, durable and with stylish Stage6 logo on the lever.

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.
The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:
- Intake manifold
- Reed valve
- Sometimes with spacer / socket
What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?
Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.
Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
