Peugeot Zenith - General information
The Peugeot Zenith is the predecessor of Peugeot's scooter models Speedake and Buxy, with minimal differences in design. The Speedake features a more race-oriented design with sports mirrors and mudguard, the Buxy was given enduro tires and more ground clearance to allow for riding off paved roads. The Zenith was built as a classic city scooter - nimble, agile and nice to look at. In contrast to its siblings, the Speedake and the Buxy, it has no special features that allow it to be assigned to a specific type.
Peugeot Zenith scooter - Engine
The Peugeot Zenith has a vertical, air-cooled, single-cylinder Peugeot 2-stroke engine. The mixture is prepared in a carburetor with reeed valve, and it has a modern automatic CVT drive with V-belt.
Zenith Scooter - Chassis
The front suspension is a hydraulic fork (2 versions depending on year of production), while the rear suspension is a monoshock. The braking system is composed of a front disc brake on the more recent versions (previously there was a drum brake in front) and a rear drum brake.
