Yamaha YZ 426 F
In 2000, the YZF 426 succeeded the YZF 400 as the worthy heir to the motorcycle that ushered in the era of 4-stroke motocross machines. More displacement, reinforced components and a revised chassis to remedy the shortcomings of the first "F" generation. The result was more power, better handling and a lower weight.
In 2000, the four-stroke engine presented itself as the future of motocross - and the rest is history.
