FMF POWERCORE 2.1
Successor to a bestseller
FMF has been producing special exhausts for motocross machines that improve performance since 1973. In addition to the Fatty and Gnarly exhausts, FMF also offers various silencer series for two-stroke engines.
The Powercore 2.1 is the successor to the Powercore 2, FMF's timeless bestseller, which is still available. However, it features some important improvements, such as a more modern design, a larger diameter to add more packing and a lower weight. It has an average length, doesn't dampen the sound too much and isn't too loud either, making it ideal for motocross. FMF also ensures a more linear power output.
Supercross fans will prefer the Shorty, and the most demanding riders will opt for the Titanium 2.1.

Silencer for motorcycle, scooter, moped
The silencer or muffler, is an essential part of the exhaust a two-wheeler. Its main function is to reduce the noise produced by the exhaust gases as they exit the engine, thus preventing unnecessary noise pollution.
How does a silencer work?
The silencer is usually a tube with perforated internal chambers that are surrounded by a sound-absorbing material. As exhaust gases enter the muffler, they pass through the openings in the walls of the pipe and are then absorbed by the silencer wool.
Silencer Maintenance
Should you notice that your two-wheeler is getting louder and louder, it's time to replace the insulation wool and exhaust gaskets. Maintenance is relatively easy and requires only a few tools.
If you regularly maintain your motorcycle or scooter, we recommend purchasing an exhaust plug to maintain the effectiveness and life expectancy of the insulation material.
