This is an RMS Gearbox / Primary Transmission for Vespa PK 50cc - 125cc ET3, with 24 / 61 teeth gears. Just mount in place of the original, no modifications necessary. The premium quality shafts and gears are suitable for tuned setups as well.
Should you go from original displacement to higher displacement, we recommend to change transmission ratio as well so you can exploit the full potential of the more powerful engine.

Scooter gearbox
The transmission of scooters and some mopeds is located in a case behind the clutch and torque driver and has the function of reducing rpm and ultimately driving the wheel axle.
The transmission of a scooter has a direct influence on top speed. If the engine develops enough power and torque at low rpm, you can choose a longer gear ratio to achieve a higher top speed without any noticeable loss in acceleration.
Please note: if you don't have a press, better choose pre-assembled gears!
