Fork oil seals
Fork seals are extremely important because they ensure that the oil that provides the damping stays in the fork. On street scooters and motorcycles, they need to be replaced relatively infrequently, but on motocross and enduro bikes that are used in mud and sand, they wear out fairly quickly.
How to Change fork seals
You don't need a lot of tools or know-how to replace fork seals. We recommend that you first take a look at the owner's manual of your bike, in many cases it will tell you all the steps, the tools and the amount of oil you need.
Since there are many different forks on the market, methods and tools can vary, as well as the type and amount of oil.
In our store we offer:
- Oil seals
- Dust caps
- Fork oil
- Wrench for fork caps
- Oil seal assembly tool
- General tools (wrench, socket wrench...)
- Grease
Since you're at it...
When you open the fork to replace the seal rings, you should take the opportunity to completely overhaul the fork.
In addition to an oil change, you can also replace the fork bushings, O-rings and other wear parts with our repair kits.
