Cylinder Gilera Runner 172 Malossi MHR
The Malossi MHR 172 cylinder for Gilera Runner has a displacement of 172cc. Torque is significantly improved and top speed is also increased thanks to the optimized port timing.
Please note that the Malossi MHR 172 cylinder head for Gilera Runner 125cc 2-stroke LC is supplied without a cylinder head cover! Just use the original cover.
Stage6 HPC crankshaft 52mm stroke / 105mm connecting rod Gilera Runner 125 2-stroke
The high-quality full-circle crankshaft has been lightened internally on the shoulder side; in combination with the copper counterbalance weights on the other side the crankshaft is perfectly balanced. The result: the engine runs smoothly over a wide range of applications and for all usages, whether for normal road us or for circuit and sprint racing. The crankshaft is equipped with a high-quality forged connecting rod with silver-forging finish to round off the high-quality design.
Crankshaft bearing Stage6 R/T steel cage Gilera Runner 125 2-stroke
The HQ bearings from NTN are suitable for very high speeds. Sufficient lubrication and proper installation of crankshaft and bearings are prerequisites for long bearing life.
After installing the new components in your Piaggio 125 scooter, you should run in the engine for about 150 km and use this phase to adjust the jet slightly.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
