Exhaust heat wrap, also known as header wrap, is wrapped around the exhaust. Heat wraps are often used in racing and reduce heat dissipation, ensuring optimum performance. The wraps also provide protection from potential burns that can result from coming into contact with the exhaust.

Exhaust heat shield

A heat shield is screwd directly to the exhaust. It forms a physical barrier made of stainless steel or composite material, preventing possible burns.

There are also self-adhesive heat shields that you can apply precisely to specific areas.
