Description
Nearly indispensable when exchanging throttle cable and throttle lever. Also necessary when converting Piaggio and Peugeot engines from seperate lubrication to petroil lubrication, since then the cable splitter will be removed and you will have only one cable left.

Structure of a Cable Sleeve
As a rule, a classic cable sheath consists of three layers: an inner helix of steel wire provides the necessary compression and support, it is protected and held by an outer PVC sheath. Inside, a polymer or Teflon layer acts as a sliding guide for the cable and reduces mechanical wear caused by friction and frequent movement of the Bowden cable.
