Description
Fuel tap universal M8 with reserve circuit.
The fuel tap interrupts the supply from the tank to prevent the carburetor from overflowing. If this is defective, you must of course replace it quickly.

Fuel tap
Depending on the type of vehicle, there are different types of fuel taps:
- Vacuum fuel tap: when the engine is running, a vacuum raises a valve through which gasoline flows. This valve closes as soon as the engine stops running.
- Fuel cock with lever: Turn the lever with normally three positions (On / Off / Reserve).
- Fuel cock with knurled wheel: Loosen the knurled wheel to let the fuel through.
- Quick lock coupler: In this case, both parts must be unclipped to cut off the fuel supply.
Please note that some fuel taps are equipped with a filter. This filter must of course always be clean for the engine to work properly.
