Fuel tap

Depending on the type of vehicle, there are different types of fuel taps:

• Vacuum fuel tap: when the engine is running, a vacuum raises a valve through which gasoline flows. This valve closes as soon as the engine stops running.
• Fuel cock with lever: Turn the lever with normally three positions (On / Off / Reserve).
• Fuel cock with knurled wheel: Loosen the knurled wheel to let the fuel through.
• Quick lock coupler: In this case, both parts must be unclipped to cut off the fuel supply.

Please note that some fuel taps are equipped with a filter. This filter must of course always be clean for the engine to work properly.
