Looks can be deceiving - this street-legal exhaust is more powerful and versatile than it looks. Due to the special header pipe and expansion chamber design it can be used with 50cc original and sport as well as 70cc sport cylinders. If you want to look low-key but ride fast - this is it!
Power output throughout the entire power band is pretty even, and engine adjustment is easy. This street-legal exhaust is available for many models. In light of all these features, value for money is outstanding.
The body is protected by a heat and weather resistant black coating, and there is also a heat shield.
The exhaust is road-legal. The Stage6 Street is restricted by a diameter restriction in the down pipe.
Setup tips
Basically, the Stage6 Street exhaust is suitable for all 50cc original or entry-level tuning cylinders, but can also be used with 70cc entry-level / Sport cylinders such as the Top Performances 70cc, the DR cast iron 70cc, etc. If you combine the Street with a 70cc cylinder, we recommend the use of a 19mm carburetor (or larger) and preferably also a tuning CVT.

The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.

- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
As a general rule, please check if the exhausts fits BEFORE REMOVING THE RESTRICTOR, otherwise the exhaust cannot be returned.
For 2-stroke engines, various settings and components usually need to be adjusted when the original exhaust is replaced with a tuning version. These changes include:
- Adjusting the carburetor by replacing the main jet.
- Upgrading the clutch or replacing the clutch springs.
- For scooters, it may be necessary to reduce the weight of the variator weights.
