The pack for Gilera Runner FXR, Italjet Dragster and Piaggio Hexagon LXT 180cc 2-stroke contains the following components:
Original Piaggio 180cc cylinder Gilera Runner 180 FXR 2-stroke
Original Piaggio 176cc LC cylinder, as a spare part from the original equipment manufacturer. Cast aluminum cylinder with hard chrome coating for optimum heat dissipation and durability. Supplied with piston, piston rings, piston pin and circlips. Supplied without cylinder head / combustion chamber and other accessories.
HPC crankshaft Stage6 stroke 52mm / connecting rod 105mm Gilera Runner 180 2-stroke
The high-quality full-circle crankshaft has been lightened internally on the shoulder side; in combination with the copper counterbalance weights on the other side the crankshaft is perfectly balanced. The result: the engine runs smoothly over a wide range of applications and for all usages, whether for normal road us or for circuit and sprint racing. The crankshaft is equipped with a high-quality forged connecting rod with silver-forging finish to round off the high-quality design.
Crankshaft bearings Stage6 R/T steel cage Gilera Runner 180 2-stroke
The HQ bearings from NTN are suitable for very high speeds. Sufficient lubrication and proper installation of crankshaft and bearings are prerequisites for long bearing life.
We recommend a running-in phase of around 150 kilometers, use it to adjust the carburetor jet.

Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
