Description
Racing Brake Disc for rear wheel by Stage6
Stage6 is always looking for ways to optimise products for road and race use, and since brakes are pretty important they improved their brake discs as well.
When developing the Stage6 Brake Disc rear 220mm Beta RR (fixed), the focus was on highest reliability and maximum braking power. The result is a high-end brake disc suitable for racing use, but that can of course also be used for everyday road use.
The brake disc is 100% made in Italy and has been tested under real conditions on the race track. It is completely made of high-quality martensitic steel. This type of steel has a high carbon and chromium content, the main advantage is its superior toughness and hardness, which guarantees an extended service life.
The heat treatment of the braking surface is the same as that used on superbikes, so when competing in circuit races pilots can brake consistently and powerfully throughout the entire race.
It is a rigid / fixed brake disc featuring a great racing look, with excellent heat dissipation and heat distribution to reduce disc "warping", which is pretty important when riding a bike under extreme conditions.
The advantages of the Stage6 brake disc:
- Increased and constant braking power even under extreme conditions
- Excellent heat resistance
- Reduced wear and tear of the pads
- Better handling and more grip when braking in corners
For optimum performance, we recommend that you fit a new pair of brake pads when mounting your new Stage6 disc.
Technical data :
- Outer diameter 220 mm
- Inner diameter 105 mm
- Diameter through mounting holes 120 mm
- 6 holes
- Hole diameter 6,5 mm
- Disc thickness 4mm

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk
The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.
Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.
When to change the brake rotor?
Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.
No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
