One of more difficult things to do on a bike is mounting the crankshaft and crankshaft bearings. This Easyboost Crankshaft Bearing Tool 50cc is a great help when installing the main bearings on the crankshafts of many 50cc scooters and mopeds (Derbi, Piaggio, Peugeot, Yamaha, MBK, AM& etc.). The tool kit allows mounting the bearings without having to use force, without heating and / or tapping.
How Easyboost crankshaft assembly aid works
The nut is screwed onto the crankshaft, then the aluminium tube, needle stop and washers are placed over the crankshaft, and by turning the screw-down nut with a wrench, the bearing will slowly but surely be pushed onto its seat.
Then heat the bearing seat in the crankcase and insert the crankshaft with its bearings without using any force.
