how does the easyboost mounting tool for crankshaft bearings work
The bearing mounting tool is simply used by screwing the appropriate nut for the model in question onto the crankshaft, then inserting the aluminum tube with bolt, a nut, two thick washers and the stop with needle rollers. By turning the thrust nut with a flat wrench, the bearing is gradually placed on the crankshaft until it reaches the stop.
Then heat the bearing seats in the crankcase with a heat gun or blowtorch and insert the crankshaft with the two mounted bearings into the housing.
