Original spare part by Dell'Orto: Emulsion Tube Dell'Orto 50, type 1012 / 3067. The emulsion tube has the function of maintaining the air fuel ratio at all speeds. The small parts of a carburetor are easily lost or get otherwise damaged and / or worn down. We carry all spare parts for the Dell'Orto carburetor models commonly used in scooters, mopeds, offroad bikes, supermoto, maxi scooters, quads etc.
Emulsion Tube
The carburetor emulsion tube, also known as mixing tube or jet holder, is the part of the carburetor to which the main jet is attached. This is where the gasoline is mixed with the air to produce the required air-fuel mixture.
There are different mixing tubes for each type of carburetor. They differ in the number, size and position of the holes.
The emulsion tube is rarely replaced as its effect is difficult to determine and only very experienced tuners know exactly what replacing the mixing tube would achieve. So consult a real carb expert if you want to find out which mixing tube may suit your setup.
