Description
RAcing brake disk Floating from Stage6 universal
Upgrade your scooter's braking performance with the floating front brake disc 250mm Stage6 MKII, developed for demanding riders and race riders.
This brake disc allows experienced tuners to convert many common scooters to an oversize brake system. However, you will need to custom-make a caliper adapter to fit the caliper to the larger disc radius.
Technology floating front brake rotor Stage6:
- High-quality steel: Manufactured in Italy, this 250mm floating brake disc is made from premium martensitic steel, enriched with carbon and chromium for exceptional hardness and durability.
- Advanced heat treatment: Inspired by Superbike World Championship technology, ensuring consistent and strong braking power, even under extended track use.
- Innovative floating disk technology: Improves force distribution by 30% compared to standard discs, delivering unmatched precision.
- Orange anodized 7075 T6 aluminum bindings: As strong as steel but significantly lighter, reinforcing the racing character while reducing weight.
- Improved thermals: Ensures even heat distribution, minimizing deformation caused by extreme temperatures.
advantages of the Stage6 R/T brake disk
- Increased and constant braking performance, even under extreme conditions.
- Reduced brake pad wear for extended lifespan.
- Better handling and grip in lean angles for optimum cornering performance.
- Thermal stability ensures reliable braking throughout the ride or in competition.

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk
The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.
Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.
When to change the brake rotor?
Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.
No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
