This conical air filter can be used with all 14mm to 21mm Dell'Orto carburetors. It is a KN type air filter (with oiled cotton); these air filters offer increased filtering performance, allowing the engine to work better. Due to its rather small size it can be installed on most vehicles.
By using this tuning air filter you can improve the performance, and pull and acceleration in particular, of the engine, the air filter also gives your scooter a distinct racing look, and it will definitely sound a lot more like a race engine!

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
