Air Filter d.48mm Doppler Air system black case / black foam / chrome grille. Air filter with Venturi Air System for PWK carburetors with small diameter. The Doppler Venturi Air system draws air into a resonance chamber via a venturi insert. The additional resonance chamber reduces gas oscillation and intake noise, the carburetor runs more smoothly and adjusting your carburetor becomes easier. Due to the slightly modified intake path, the air filter is now even quieter.
The plastic housing protects against water and dirt (unlike open air filters).

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
