Polini pod air filter
Polini Air Filter "Air Box" black with 30° angle. These HQ air filters made of open cell foam offer excellent filter performance. The air filter is suitable for racing and everyday use.
Compatible with most standard carburetors.
Air filter with splash cap
The optional dirt or water protection cap allows use in all weather conditions. Foam tuning filters are very susceptible to moisture, and the protective cap prevents the filter from quickly becoming soaked. The cap also looks great and ensures an excellent and not too loud sound.

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
